First off, I'd like to take a second to thank everyone that has helped make the Geekery for Rent Journey something that was not only an invaluable learning experience, but a pleasure as well. Over the course of the past several months, I have learned so much about the business of doing business, technology, and life in general.
Unfortunately, I'm at a point where I am no longer able to continue to support the operational overhead of Geekery for Rent. Effective 4/5/2010 Geekery for Rent is under suspended operation. Personally, I will continue some of my consulting, however, as part of my non-compete with my new employer I will no longer be performing the following services:
- PC and Network Setup
- Virus Removals
- Hardware and Software Sales
- Software / Hardware Training
- Etc.
If you are in need of these services, please locate your nearest Office Depot Tech Depot or Staples EasyTech center where you will be able to procure quality services.
I will continue to do web development, infrastructure consulting and a few other limited-scope projects personally as a 1099 Independent Contractor, and will consider these on a one-off basis depending on my schedule availability.
